Department Overview
Welcome to the Department of Microbiology,
established in 2014, where we offer a dynamic
three-year B.Sc. program to 36 students. Our
well-equipped laboratory facilitates hands-on
learning and innovation. Our experienced faculty
supports academic, extracurricular, and research
activities. Our alumni excel in prestigious
institutions and prominent positions globally. Our
program cultivates scientific, analytical, and
problem-solving skills, covering microorganism
characteristics, applications in drug production,
pollution control, and more.
We provide courses in English, biology, research
methodology, and intellectual property rights.
Students engage in biochemistry, biostatistics,
computer science, and compulsory social service
activities. Our department conducts research on
economically important microbes and clinical
